The most important consideration in Prenatal Yoga is creating space. Space for Baby to grow and move and space for mums and parents to find some comfort and ease within their expanding body, busy mind and energy field in preparation for stepping into motherhood or parenthood.

In prenatal yoga, we use plenty of supportive props such as bolsters and blankets. Classes are suitable for all trimesters of pregnancy and no previous yoga experience is needed:

  • you do not need to be ‘flexible’ or ‘fit’

  • if you have any movement restrictions from your healthcare provider, please contact us to discuss, as our yoga classes are accessible for all levels of mobility and we should still be able to accommodate you

What you Will Learn

We have spent years developing our Prenatal Yoga curriculum, meticulously curating core yoga practices across all facets of yoga. During our transformative sessions together, you will explore yoga across all its facets, covering topics such as:

  • Creating space for yourself and baby

  • Connecting with baby

  • Moving your pregnant body

  • Being breathed and working with the breath

  • Harnessing your pelvic energy

  • Softening and sounding

  • Steadiness and stamina

  • Finding balance

  • Withdrawing your senses: turning inwards

  • Active birthing postures and principles

  • Supporting optimal positioning for baby
